But where should you base yourself? The cliffs of the south, the hip cafes of the west, or an island escape?
The search for Bali surf villas is overwhelming. We break down the three main zones based on skill level (beginner vs pro) and lifestyle.
1. The Heavyweights: Uluwatu vs. Canggu
Canggu is the digital nomad capital. It is social, busy, and filled with incredible food.

Uluwatu, on the Bukit Peninsula, is dramatic. This is the land of cliffs and world-class barrels.
